Writing assignments, hanging out with Sharks, upping my cooking game

It's almost two weeks since my last entry, and I think I can safely say that I've established something of a weekly routine. Plenty of stuff to talk about, so I shall do my best to keep things as concise as possible. Okay, here we go!

Thursday to Thursday

We've reached our first elongated gap between entries, and it's a whopper that spans a whole week. Starting last Thursday I attended the fourth of my four modules, Writing London, did some more doggiser in Hyde Park, showed off my Beşiktaş shirt at the kebab shop on Friday, lit up floorball practice on Saturday and paid a visit to Emma afterwards, played my first two matches for the Great White Sharks on Sunday. After that, honestly, it's been a pretty normal week. Except for how bloody warm it was on Monday, and the fox I met upon crossing London Bridge on Tuesday...

What did the fox say, you say? He said: "u wot m8" before trotting along.

A little bit of homesickness, new classes and escaping the city

There's been a tremendous snowfall in Norway over the weekend, and reported temperatures well below zero have been constantly ticking in. Seeing all posts and photos of the ambient conditions back home has given me quite a longing to put two planks on my feet and whiz around outside. But there are no such joys to be had in this city, the only one coming fairly close was when the sun made an appearance to me after my class on Tuesday:

Sun? Blue skies? Wassat?

Kitchenware, colourful lights, lovely sights and familiar dinners

It's been an eventful weekend, with a trip to IKEA near Wembley and several visits to the Lumiére festival's installations spread around London. I've also had my two first classes and properly experienced Central London during peak hours on my way from class and to floorball practice. Busy busy busy!

Friday's shopping list.

Meetings, floorball, smoky kitchens and legends.

It's been a few days, and some things have happened. I've had a few meetings on campus, I've played some floorball, I've done some shopping for essentials, I've been very close to witnessing the fire alarm go off and I bumped into a bloke who's 7 second joke once went around the world thanks to the internet. As the legendary Borat would say; you'll find more, chenquieh.

Settling in and catching up

Since my previous post, I've arrived in London and spent two nights here. "You're going to have to be a bit more specific than that." I hear you say, and I agree. Which is why I've written what you're about to read.

Whizzing through the air like it's nothing. What a bellend!

Off I go, then!

Being that I'm about to embark on a wonderful adventure, it seemed appropriate to create a blog and try to keep track of what happens. Bear with me as the intervals between entries inevitably grows, which I'll try to make up for with my charismatic style of writing.

This is me, hanging out in the living room. Taking a break from packing.
